Director of Engineering

Job Description:

The Director of Engineer is the senior most engineer in the Engineering organization.
He/She is responsible for leading the effort on major products and programs.

Desired Skills:

• Research new applied technologies
  
• Driving the conceptualization and architecture of products and solutions
• Designing circuits and assemblies
• Providing technical leadership to the design team in all aspects of the development process
• Working with OEM’s and strategic development partners
• Coordinating high level direction with, and reporting status to, the President on a regular basis
• Providing technical mentoring to more junior members of the Engineering organization
• Performing duties within prescribed schedule and budgets
• Other duties as assigned

Education:

BSEE, BSCS or Equivalent; MSEE  preferred. 

 Experience: 

10 to 15 years related experience in design and development of high technology
electro-mechanical products.
